John and Sallie Carlson have been the area’s best northern light chasers for years!! Getting up at 2 am to catch a brilliant image doesn’t faze them! Each of their photographs includes a diary quotation stating when, where and how the picture was taken.
If you travel to the B.W.C.A, you may have run into Travis Melin. He captures the beauty and solitude of the north woods with his large format camera and a lot of patience. You may have portaged on the same lakes in his photos! |
